Adisadel College in the modern day

The year 2000 saw 90 years since Hamlyn founded what is now Adisadel College. The School, today more than ever, is a triumphant monument to the vision of it's Founder.

The college's outstanding contribution to education in Ghana is not the magnificent record of academic achievement or sporting results. Instead it is the stirring of an individual student - the stimulation of their character and mind.

Numerous productions of the School have shown this. More importantly, the presence of an older foundation in the area - Mfantsipim School, situated at Kwabotwe Hill, has acted as a stimulant to Adisadel. Healthy doses of rivalry between the schools has been responsible for some of the success by both establishments.

It is anticipated that the school will have progressed and grown by 2010, ready to celebrate its centenary in style!.

The School Ode

The Ode has a theme of service and honesty and was created to inspire and lift the spirits of all students and staff. It's aim is to encourage it's listeners/singers to achieve the best they possibly can - both in school and in their chosen careers once they've left.
